| Description: | Take a train ride aboard the Santa Express with Santa Claus himself, Mrs. Claus and Santa’s helper elves for an hour and twenty minutes of family fun. Travel along the scenic Naugatuck River, in our warm and comfortable 1920s vintage coaches. Santa and Mrs. Claus visit with each child on board the Santa Express. What a great way to celebrate the holiday spirit this winter in Connecticut. Santa Express trains depart Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. only, December 1-2, 8-9, 15-16 and 22-23. Reservations are recommended, these trains sell out early. All trains depart from Thomaston Station
At the conclusion of your train ride, visit our gift shop inside the decorated, historic 1881 Thomaston Station with time to enjoy the operating Christmas train layout. We have a large selection of railroad books and memorabilia to choose from as well as plenty of children's gifts, books and toys. |
