| Description: | The XL Center is Connecticut’s largest, in-door premier sports and entertainment facility. The arena is home to the Hartford Wolf Pack; AHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, the Big East Conference Women’s Basketball Championship until 2009, and the home away from home for the University of Connecticut Men’s and Women’s basketball programs. In addition to the resident teams, the Hartford Civic Center is host to concerts, family show, ice skating spectaculars, consumer events and trade shows throughout the year.
