| Description: | Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center (DPNC) is non-profit environmental education center in Mystic. DPNC and the adjacent, managed properties consist of eight miles of walking, hiking and birding trails within a 300-acre nature preserve. The Nature Center also offers a natural history museum and small meadow theatre, live reptiles, amphibians and birds of prey; a state-licensed preschool; summer camp programs; paddle trips and educational programs for all ages. Picnic areas and gift shop also on site. |
