| Description: | Eric Sloane, noted author of 38 books and well known artist, assembled an extensive collection of hand tools. The museum displays these plus examples of his art work and his studio. An exhibit in the museum and a walking trail tells about the local iron industry. This is a Connecticut Blue Star Museum which invites active military personnel and their families to visit their museums free of charge all summer long (Memorial Day, May 27 through Labor Day, September 2, 2013).
