This community favorite family entertainment event is Star Wars meets the Old West visiting in 1881, learning how Santa learned to be Santa by using thr power of the Force. You will meet Jedi Knight Johnly-Wayne Kenobi, Barf Vadar, Darth Mall, Queen Amygdale, the Earps, Doc Holiday, the Clanton gang, and many more characters.

Enjoy browsing more than 25 distinctive exhibitors offering unique gifts including designer clothing, fine art and antiques, home accessories and bath products, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and sweet & savory treats. This year you will also have a wide variety of Hill-Stead products to choose from – garments, scarves and ties, bags, jams, honey and the museum's new, exclusive wines.

Visit some of Santa's friends, then join him by a cracking fire in the Pepple House. Have your picture take with Santa and make your own picture frame to put it in.

A fun, family oriented 3.5 mile run on a certified course over a varied terrain, features a costume division.

Mystic Aquarium will be transformed into a winter wonderland. Hundreds of luminaries will line the walkways of the aquarium while local organizations provide entertainment, including carolers, holiday music, face painters, storytellers and a visit from Santa.

Enjoy a buffet breakfast, a visit with Santa, storytime with Mrs. Claus and a horse drawn sleigh ride (or hay ride) around the farm.

Enjoy the holiday season with the kids with a special visit to Mystic Seaport to see Santa Claus. From 1 to 3 p.m., Santa will greet the kids and hearing holiday.

Santa’s Workshop is a chance for children to enjoy an uncommercialized Christmas experience. Santa, Mrs. Claus and their elves make the log cabin in Wickham Park their home each winter. A visit with Santa, the elves working on toys and Mrs. Claus serving free refreshments make for a pleasant visit. Set in a log cabin with decorations and music of the season, a fire in the great stone fireplace and a 15 foot Christmas tree provide for a perfect holiday atmosphere.

Hartford's Nook Farm turns back the clock and presents the sights and sounds of a Victorian holiday celebration. Famed residents Harriet Beecher Stowe and Mark Twain always extended the spirit of the holidays to friends and neighbors. Step back in time with carriage rides, holiday crafts and shopping, visits with the Stowe and Clemens families, musical entertainment and a chance to share your wish with Santa.

Enjoy a holiday brunch and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the historic Lyman Homestead.

Events include time for kids of all ages to spend time with Santa and have their traditional pictures takes with St. Nick. Each day a special performance form CenterStage Theater in Shelton, featuring appearances by Frosty and a craft for children to make.
