It's officially beer fest season! Now is the time to get your train tickets or designated drivers in order. Here's a heads up on 10 upcoming Connecticut spring & summer beer festivals to put on your to-do list.
June 7, 2019
Join hundreds of beer enthusiasts on Friday, June 7th at the Courtyard by Marriott—Waterbury. The Annual Spring Beer Fest is a one-of-a-kind indoor festival that invites breweries from around Connecticut and nearby. There will be two ballrooms full of breweries and distilleries. All featured breweries also will have their beer in their restaurant and bar as well as serve at all of our banquet events for the next year. VIP and general admission tickets are available.
Ski Sundown, New Hartford

The 9th Annual Litchfield Hills Beer and Wine Fest will take place on Saturday June 8th at Ski Sundown in New Hartford from 1-5 p.m. Come take in a spectacular mountain setting featuring an extensive offering of specialty beers, wines, microbrews, cider and moonshine from more than 70 vendors. New to the event this year, columnist and author, Will Siss, known as the “Beer Snob,“ will be hosting a special tasting and talk at 2:30 pm. This is will be a great opportunity to try some local brews and learn more about craft beer in general.

The 3rd annual Bacon and BrewFest takes place June 8th at Notre Dame High School in Fairfield. Come and enjoy an afternoon of beer, food, live music, games and fun. Attendees may purchase food from on-site food trucks that will to feature at least one bacon related food item. This event also features live bands and lawn games, including giant beer pong and a cornhole tournament. Be sure to hit up the table for homebrewer Neubeginun. They plan on making a special beer to distribute in honor of the late president of the High School, Father Bill Sangiovanni.
Two Roads Area 2, Stratford
June 21-22, 2019
This June Two Roads Brewing Company will be celebrating their 6th Annual Road Jam Fest on the Two Roads Brewing campus. This event now includes a Friday night show! More jams, more beer, and a lot more fun! Each ticket gets you entrance into the concerts as well as your first pint of beer. The namesake of the Road Jam Festival, Two Roads Road Jam Raspberry Wheat with Lemongrass will be pouring in addition to other select Two Roads beers including Cruise Control, Lil Juicy, Sauvignon Blanc Gose and more. This event is a great opportunity to get to Two Roads and check out their new Area Two space and enjoy some of their new beers!

Saturday, June 29th at New England Brewing Company in Woodbridge is the Second Annual Summers, Session, Sours and Stouts Beer Festival. Come sample over 100 beers from Connecticut breweries and beyond. VIP session is from 12-1 p.m. General admission is 1-4 p.m. Considering this event is held is NEBCO we can pretty much guarantee the beers will be out of this world.

The 5th Annual Brews on Bedford Craft Brew Festival takes place Saturday, June 29th in Latham Park on Bedford Street in downtown Stamford. Come fill your sampling glass with beer from a variety of breweries from across the region while enjoying music, games and food for purchase.
July 26, 2019
The annual event takes place at the Bethel Municipal Center Lawn in the middle of the quaint town of Bethel. This small and intimate beer fest is the perfect chance to try beers from many of Fairfield County breweries all in one place including Nod Hill Brewery (Ridgefield), Charter Oak Brewing Company (Danbury Redding Beer Co (Redding) and more. Be sure to pregame (or post game) at Broken Symmetry Gastro Brewery located in the restored, historic, downtown Bethel train station.
Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort, Middlefield

Located at Powder Ridge Mountain & Resort in Middlefield, this beer fest features live bands and hundreds of beers from more than 30 breweries. If you go, be sure to make a pit stop at their home brewer’s tent where you get to vote on the best home brewer. There's also a Men's & Women's Keg Toss Competition toward the end of the event. Start working on those beer muscles right now.
Eli Cannon's Tap Room, Middletown

Eli Cannons Annual Charity Beer Fest takes place at Eli Cannons in Middletown on August 5th. Every serious craft beer drinker knows this is one beer fest you don’t want to miss. Participating brewers are known for bringing their best beers. And it’s a great opportunity to meet some newcomers onto the Connecticut beer scene. We had our first Fat Orange Cat Brewing Company IPA at this event! We recommend paying a little extra for VIP tickets. They’re very limited but with the price of admission you’ll have a chance to score some very rare beers. 100% of the proceeds from this event go to charity.
