June is Pride Month, and there are LGBT celebrations and events planned for towns all over the state. Here are just a few of the happenings taking place in Connecticut this month. You can also keep up with events scheduled throughout the summer here.
Cinestudio Theater at Trinity College, Hartford

Out Film Connecticut’s LGBT Film Festival is a nine-day festival featuring films, documentaries and shorts to our community. Most screenings are at Cinestudio (Trinity College) in Hartford, but closing day/night goes on the road to Real Art Ways, Spotlight Theatres and Wadsworth Atheneum!

Pride in the Park 2017 is Fairfield County's LGBTQ Pride festival and is open to all. Pride in the Park is a family-friendly Pride festival that brings you internationally-known entertainers and local performers. This year, they’re pleased to bring you Trixie Mattel from RuPaul's Drag Race, comedian Julie Goldman, and musician Crystal Waters for free and live performances!

The Sun will celebrate Pride Night on Saturday, June 10th when they take on the Atlanta Dream at 7:00pm. Former NBA star and champion of diversity Jason Collins will be on hand to answer questions at halftime and attend the official Sun Pride Postgame Party presented by Absolut. The party will be held at the Sun Terrace Pool, located in the Sky Tower, immediately following the game.
