The Passengers from the Past experience is designed to take passengers back in time alongside popular historic figures. The special passengers are personified by renowned historic figure actors. Visitors get to spend quality tiem on the stream train and riverboat with some of the most interesting people in history.

Aug. 9-10: Mark Twain. One of Connecticut's most famous residents, will entertain the crowds with storytelling and humor.

Aug. 16-17: William and Helen Gillette. William Gillette, the American actor and playwright famous for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, will be joined by his wife Helen. Helen will share her fabulous style tips and William will show passengers where his castle sits on his hillstop estate.

Aug. 30-31: Jay Gatsby. Is the title character of F. Scott Fitgerald's best known work, The Great Gatsby (1925). The character has become an archetype of self-made American men seeking to join high society.
