Each year IAIS honors a local Native American who has served in the United States Military.  Throughout history Native Americans have served their country with the highest record of service per capita when compared to the general American population and to any other ethnic group.

Join us in honoring Sam Thunderheart, Apache and Taino heritage, and  remembering all veterans, Native and non-Native, who have served our country with courage and pride.  Following a traditional ceremony in the outdoor village we invite participants and visitors for a light lunch.
