Spas by the Sea
Connection Types: Rest & Relaxation
Seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter

Spa Based on Packages

Choose your spa based on packages and locale (some are directly on the water; others are a short drive away). Among the options:

  • Water’s Edge Resort and Spa, directly on Long Island Sound in Westbrook, has a private white sand beach, oversized guestrooms and suites, and a luxury spa (offering  caviar moisturizing facials).
  • Saybrook Point Inn & Spa features deluxe guestrooms, gourmet dining, views of Long Island Sound and the Connecticut River, and a full-service spa (try a coastal sea salt body polish with aromatherapy oils). It is directly on Long Island Sound in Old Saybrook.
  • Mystic Marriott Resort & Spa, in Groton, is a short drive to the beach. The deluxe property has 285 guestrooms, and an onsite Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa.

Bluff Point Coastal Reserve

Before check-in or after check-out, visit   Bluff Point Coastal Reserve in Groton and take a therapeutic stroll. The 778-acre natural area includes an undeveloped barrier beach, terrific bird-watching, and views of coastal landmarks including Ledge Light and Pine Island.

Olde Mystick Village

Do some “sole” searching at one of several shopping areas. Search for shoes, bath products, candles, and herbal therapies at Olde Mystick Village in Mystic; downtown Mystic; downtown Niantic, and New London’s Historic Waterfront District.
