Alexey von Schlippe Gallery of Art

 

The Alexey von Schlippe Gallery, at the University of Connecticut Avery Point is located on the second floor of the historic Branford House. The mansion, built in 1902 by Morton Freeman Plant, is on the National Register of Historic Places and features a two-story fireplace and ornate woodwork. The Alexey von Schlippe Gallery presents exhibits by regional, national, and international artists. In addition to the gallery, stroll the beautiful brick pathway along the banks of the Long Island Sound to enjoy stunning water views and sculptures by contemporary artists.
