New Britain Youth Museum

Visit the new exhibit "Masks: Filters of Identiy." The exhibit features masks from the New Britain Youth Museum collection as well as masks from other museums, private collections and mask-makers. The masks represent the cultural practices and ethnic concerns of North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the South Pacific Islands. Mask making workshops, theatrical performances and anthropology lectures are just a few of the many programs that will be offered in conjunction with the exhibit.
