The heart of two historic farms, Hunt Hill Farm has seen activity for almost 300 years, but it has been the home of Ruth and Skitch Henderson since 1968. These dedicated stewards have created the Henderson Cultural Center which includes: The Skitch Henderson Museum, an intimate museum dedicated to the collections of this beloved maestro; The Silo Gallery, established in 1975, the gallery has a long tradition of promoting arts and artistry regionally and nationally. There are approximately six exhibits per year, and don’t forget the annual 27-foot Christmas tree! The Hunt Hill Farm Preserve/The Hunt Hill Farm Trust is actively working to preserve approximately 40 acres of farmland and woodland and the ten historic building associate with these classic New England farms. The Silo Store and Cooking School, opened in 1972 carries gourmet food items, gifts, high quality cooking supplies, and educational toys. The Cooking School operates nine months of the year, offering recreational cooking classes taught by distinguished faculty from around the country. Classes are offered for both the novice and the experienced; children and adults. Also, schedule custom classes.
