| Description: | Located on Jewell St. at the Memorial Arch. Intricately hand-carved carousel created by Solomon Stein and Harry Goldstein in 1914 with 48 horses, two chariots, a myriad of beautiful stained glass windows depicting the changing seasons, mirrors reflecting 800 twinkling light bulbs, and a finely tuned Wurlitzer band organ. Open for First Night Hartford, December 31st, from 2 p.m.-midnight Available for private rentals, birthday parties and Spin & Learn educational programs. |
