Renown chef Kevin Cottle who has competed on the hit show Hell's Kitchen is the Executive Chef of the new destination restaurant Fire at The Ridge at Powder Ridge Mountain Park and Resort. The full-service restaurant serves up artfully-inspired regional cuisine. The restaurant represents the passion that comes from the food and the love of adventure sports, creating unique experiences that bring people together. Guest can relax by the fire while watching their friends and family conquer the mountain.
Inspired by native New England flavors and locally-sourced ingredients, Fire at the Ridge is a destination restaurant tucked away in the hills of Middlefield. “That’s what makes Fire at the Ridge so unique,” says Chef Cottle. “We’re providing guests with a sophisticated yet approachable experience in a relaxed and familiar setting.”
In addition to Fire at the Ridge, the lodge is home to The Ridgeside Tavern. Locals have long known the bar at Powder Ridge to be the place to meet up with friends and for creating new friendships that last a lifetime. The Ridgeside Tavern is Chef’s Kevin Cottles twist on old Colonial taverns. The Tavern serves locally-brewed beers and craft cocktails.
The third leg is the company's event business. Custom designed private and catered events for every size including corporate meetings, weddings, team building, dining parties, and seminars. In addition, the company hosts public events such as music festivals, racing competitions, wine tastings and cooking classes.
