This year's Open House Day brings live animal attractions right into your home, virtually. From live zoo cams to online tours, here is a list of virtual animal experiences that will be offered on June 13th.

The Children's Museum, West Hartford

Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, Bridgeport

Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo is running a live zoo cam of their red pandas, spider monkeys and a giant anteater, as well as a Facebook Live every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2 p.m. which will feature different zoo animals.

 

Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, Mystic

Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center is running an Online Nature School Zoom Class  where you can learn all about nature in Connecticut and discover fun activities to do in your neighborhood. Also, go for on a guided virtual hike to learn more about the center and it's grounds.

 

Hill-Stead Museum, Farmington

The Hill-Stead Museum is offering Virtual Sheep Experiences through June 30 where you can virtually meet baby lambs that were recently welcomed into the Hill-Stead family.

 

Horizon Wings Raptor Rehabilitation & Education Center, Ashford

Horizon Wings Raptor Rehabilitation and Education Center in Ashford specializes in raptors and large corvids (such as crows and ravens). For an intersting virtual experience, the center is offering free live educational videos with resident birds.

 

Maritime Aquarium, Norwalk

Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk is bringing the marine life right to you with virtual events, videos and interactive social media experiences to keep you up-to-date on Aquarium happenings.

 

Mystic Aquarium, Mystic

Mystic Aquarium in Mystic has a great list of virtual experiences including a Live Penguin Feed that brings the beloved penguins right to your computer screen.
