Colonial home circa 1720 built on ledge and surrounded by roses - hence the name, Roseledge.  Located on a section of State Scenic Highway Route 164, in the historic town of Preston this home was once owned by the John Meech. The current owner is only the fifth owner of the property, who had the vision for the reuse the antique farm. Lovely restored, her tireless and ceaseless labor love has created Gardens of Bliss, a Farm shop, Tea Room and the B&B.

In each of the three guest rooms are filled with romance with fresh flowers in cut glass vases and vintage linens and dolies grace the antique furniture. Bathrooms are in suite and lotions and potions are abundante to spoil one self. A fire is laid in the room fireplaces in the cooler months, ready to be lit when you are in for the evenings. Roseledge sits up on a high stone wall on a hill with great cross winds for those who enjoy a summer breeze instead of the AC's also provided.

Breakfast is served in the Tea Room each morning, a roaring crackling fire is lit and waiting for you. Start your morning off with a freshly brewed cup of coffee and a homemade muffin fresh from the oven. In season fruit is spooned into vintage glasswear and often garnished with eatable flowers. The hens that free range provide daily eggs. Eggs gathered in the morning are used to create assorted breakfasts dishes with homefries and breakfast meat. Sundays are saved for special breakfasts such as strawberry stuffed French toast, or cinnamon bun French toast. Scones are baked almost daily and enjoyed in the afternoon with tea.

A trip to the near-by Buttonwoods Farm homemade ice cream is worth the short drive. Local wineries one just a mile south of Roseledge are a fun and relaxing way to enjoy the area, music and other festivities can often be found there. A stop into the farm shop before heading home for a unique. Local honey, hand crafted soaps, fresh potted herbs, annuals, and the perennial you have been looking for.
