If your family loves dinosaurs, an amazing adventure awaits at our biggest and best dinosaur-themed attractions. The Connecticut Dinosaur Trail brings them all together so you can plan your own dino-sized days of fun and not miss a single saurus!

Attractions on the Trail include:

Connecticut Science Center located in Hartford. Features dinosaurs as part of more than 165 hands-on, permanent exhibits. Visitors can see the soaring Pterosaur and hear the roar of the life-like animatronic Dilophosaurus. Visitors can also see real fossils and find their very own in the Center's dig pit.

Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History located in New Haven. A hub of dinosaur research, its vertebrate paleontology collection among the largest in the nation. Visitors entering the Great Hall will find themselves surrounded by dinosaur fossils 200 to 65 million years old, including the type specimens of Stegosaurus, Triceratops and a 70-foot Apatosurus("Brontosaurus"). Here also is Rudolph Zallinger's famed mural The Age of Reptiles, the world's largest dinosaur painting.

Dinosaur State Park located in Rocky Hill. A registered National Natural Landmark is home to more than 2,000 Theropod dinosaur footprints left there 200 million years ago during the early Jurassic Period. Visitors can view more than 600 of the footprints inside the museum. The park sits on 60 acres. Outside activities include track casting, a mining activity, over two miles of hiking trails and a picnic area.

The Dinosaur Place at Nature's Art Village located in Oakdale. A family-owned and operated interactive science, nature and shopping adventure. Discover an outdoor advenutre of prehistoric propportions: explore more than 40 life-sized dinosaurs on 1.5 miles of pristine trails; stay cool in New England's largest Splashpad; get lost in the a "MAZE"asaurus. See dinosaurs come to life with the new animatronic exhibits. Travel indoors to Discover Depot's hands-on activities like digging for gems or panning for "gold."
