Savor the authentic tastes of Italy when you dine at La Marea. Located on the shoreline in Old Saybrook, the family owned Italian restaurant prepares northern and southern Italian cuisine using a mix of the finest imports from Italy as well as fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Enjoy your dining experience in either our dining room or be sure to reserve a seat at our conversational hi-top tables or at the bar in the lounge.
Upon your visit, you will receive a warm, welcoming greeting as you prepare to experience some of the best Italian food in Connecticut. The menu is updated seasonally to feature traditional and modern Italian cuisine. We offer delicious antipasti appetizers including the very popular Parmigiana di Melanzane (Eggplant Parmesan), homemade and specially sourced pasta, and outstanding entrees of seafood, chicken, pork and our LaMarea favorite Occhio di Costata steak. We invite you to order the fabulous Wood Fired Neapolitan Style Pizza which is available for eat in or *take out.
Your ultimate dining experience would not be complete without enjoying a craft and pre-prohibition cocktail list, extensive draft beers on tap, or a hand selected glass or bottle of wine from our curated wine list.
Be sure to save room for dessert. All desserts are made in-house. The Budino di Formaggio (Cheesecake) is a must try. We offer traditional Italian digestivos and cordials to complete your dining experience.
Gluten Free and Vegetarian options are available.
