Kids Museums

The Lutz Children’s Museum has many displays tailored for young children. Weather permitting, you can go for a hike through the nearby 52-acre Oak Grove Nature Center, then have the kids explore the museum, where walk-through, interactive displays take them through "Main Street", farm, art, and live animal exhibits.

For over 25 years, the Stepping Stones Museum has provided a fun, interactive, and award-winning learning experience for children. Take a walk through the outdoor Community Garden, read your child's favorite book in the Book Nook, get energized in the Energy lab, and more - the opportunities here are endless. 

Niantic Children's Museum is a spot for learning and fun. Explore the Discovery Room with science-based activities. Greet resident animals and check out the inner workings of a real beehive. Creative, imaginative play can be found in the Imagination Station where you can pilot a fishing boat, take on the role of an architect with giant foam blocks, or climb into a fire truck. Toddler Land is ready to welcome the youngest visitors. Head outside where an outdoor playspace delights youngsters with a real tree house, whale drum, climbing wall, kid-sized zipline, and performing stage.

The Children’s Museum offers engaging fun with science and nature for younger children and families, school and community groups, and home schooled children. Kids can enjoy interactive labs, workshops, multi-sensory exhibits and demonstrations, a live wildlife sanctuary, state-of-the art digital science dome planetarium shows and more.

At KidsPlay, children experience hands-on learning through interactive and multi-sensory adventures. With over 20 activities featuring a town center, arts and innovation zone, literacy tree house, Asian culture learning, a raceway, and physical phenomenon, each exhibit promotes developmental skills like role-playing, sharing, communicating, and self-control.

With a mission of cultivating lifelong love-of-learning in children, EverWonder is packed with interactive exhibits and activities, science demonstrations, art and Tinker Labs, Imagination Playground, Young Explorer area, and more.
