June is Pride Month, and there are LGBT celebrations and events planned for towns all over the state. Here are just a few of the happenings taking place in Connecticut. You can also keep up with events scheduled throughout the summer here.

Out Film CT
Cinestudio Theater at Trinity College, Hartford
June 1-9, 2018
Out Film Connecticut’s LGBT Film Festival is a nine-day festival featuring films, documentaries and shorts to our community. Most screenings are at Cinestudio (Trinity College) in Hartford, but closing day/night goes on the road to Real Art Ways, Spotlight Theatres and Wadsworth Atheneum!

Tea Dance: Dance for a Great Cause

An evening of drinks and nibbles, along with music, dancing and fun for all LGBTQ folks and friends.

Queer Prom
June 15, 2018
For all LGBTQ youth and their allies. Event for ages 13 to 18 and well chaperoned with food, dancing, DJ and floor show.

Pride & Wellness Fair

First-of-its-kind health and wellness fair to connect the LGBTQ community with affirmative healthcare providers.

Connecticut Sun vs. Phoenix Mercury

It's Pride Night with the Connecticut Sun, when the Sun takes on All-Stars Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner and the Pheonix Mercury. Your ticket includes a Pride t-shirt and enjoy a postgame panel including Griner, the Sun's Courtney Williams and Head Coach Curt Miller. Plus, don't miss a special halftime performance by American Idol sensation Ada Vox.

8th Annual SameSex Exhibit
City Lights Gallery, Bridgeport
July 18-August 18, 2018
A gender inclusive art exhibit and event of painting, photography, wigs, head dresses, fiber art, and projected art. Artists' reception and PRIDE Walk on July 10.

New London Pride Festival
Ocean Beach Park, New London
August 25, 2018
Activities include a volleyball tournaments (10 a.m.2 p.m.) and open valleyball play (2 p.m.-5 p.m.) – drop-ins welcome. At the Diva Center, have your hair and nails done, and put on wigs and costumes. Kid Zone, an area with games for kids and free face painting.

PrideFest
September 7-8, 2018
Event includes a celebration of events in various locations throughout Hartford. The activities include music, a themed party, a bar crawl, and much more.

PRIDE New Haven
September 13-16, 2018
A huge public celebration of the history and culture of New Haven’s LBGTQ community.
