June is Pride Month, and there are LGBT celebrations and events planned for towns all over the state. Here are some of the happenings taking place in Connecticut.
The Glass House, New Canaan

This exhibit underscores an essential element of the site's history that has not been fully presented as part of its public interpretation up to this time. It exhibits the Glass House as an intellectual and artistic gathering place.

The exhibit showcases the works of Beck Doty and Sam Jannetty and explores the significance of tattoos in the LGBTQ culture.
May 17, 2019
A safe and inclusive prom for LGBTQ+ youth (13-18). Dance and have a good time in downtown New Haven with DJ music, photo booth and live performances.

Outdoor Glow Block Party with food, vendors, open mic, DJ entertainment and much more.

Concert pays tribute to "those heroes who have championed the movement through history," according to the chorus.
May 31-June 2, 2019
Based on true events, this huge-hearted hit musical tells the story of two people with nothing in common - or so they think.

The Connecticut’s LGBT Film Festival is a nine-day festival featuring films, documentaries and shorts to our community. Most screenings are at Cinestudio (Trinity College) in Hartford. Additional theaters around the city include Real Art Ways and the Wadsworth Atheneum.
