Connecticut's Cultural Treasures
The State of Connecticut is bursting with cultural resources that reveal our history of innovation, creativity, ingenuity and leadership. To be exact, we have over 150 cultural attractions of National Significance…National Significance! That is amazing to consider in a state of this size. We have so many things to boast about, yet a majority of our own residents aren’t even aware of what Connecticut has to offer.
The Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) and the Connecticut Public Broadcasting Network (CPTV) have formed a programming partnership to produce Connecticut’s Cultural Treasures. Connecticut’s Cultural Treasures will showcase some of Connecticut’s premiere cultural attractions through 5-minute program segments/vignettes. These are to be broadcast on CPTV, but we make them available here for your enjoyment.
Please be sure to return to this page, since new segments will be posted once they become available.
