Maritime Aquarium Maritime Aquarium Maritime Aquarium Maritime Aquarium

Looking to explore Long Island Sound and the creatures that live in it? Maritime Aquarium is the perfect place to visit!

Located along the Norwalk River with easy access from I-95 and Metro North Railroad, the Aquarium provides an up-close look at over 8,000 animals including harbor seals, sand tiger sharks, and diamondback terrapins that live just beyond our walls. Plus, you can safely touch cownose rays, Atlantic sturgeon, moon jellies, and intertidal animals at our four touch tanks throughout the Aquarium.

Don't forget to enhance your visit with a 4D film experience that sends the action off the screen and over the audience with thrilling sensory special effects, such as scents, bubbles, wind, mists, and more.

We look forward to seeing you on your next family outing, date, or solo trip!
