Tea With Tracy offers an extensive menu of black, green, and herbal teas, along with tea sandwiches, soups, salads, gourmet grilled cheeses, and desserts. Afternoon tea presentations include scones with Devonshire cream or lemon curd.

Savvy Tea Gourmet, Madison

Savvy Tea Gourmet is both a teahouse and a teashop that offers over 300 artisan teas and educational tea tastings. Its “lovely, but lighter” version of afternoon tea includes a pot of tea of your choice and sweet baked goods served on a tiered tray.

Penny Farthing Tea Room & Bakery, Morris 

Penny Farthing Tea Room serves tea, drip coffee, and seasonal beverages alongside a selection of British desserts, scones, pastries, sandwiches, and soups. The tea room also offers afternoon tea services with traditional English scones and clotted cream, finger sandwiches, petite desserts, quiche, and a choice of tea and sparkling beverage.

Prince Tea House, New Haven

Prince Tea House combines European tea traditions with Asian flavors, offering brunch, desserts, sandwiches and salads in addition to a wide variety of teas. Afternoon tea, served all day for one to three guests, includes finger sandwiches, scones, assorted desserts and tea refills.

Posh Tea Room, Monroe 

Posh offers multiple themed afternoon tea experiences, including a classic version reminiscent of Bridgerton and Downton Abbey; an “Around the Globe” experience with selections from renowned tea regions around the world; and a “Regal Afternoon Tea,” a midweek experience designed for guests 60 and over.  There’s even a tea experience specially tailored for children. Enjoy a leisurely two-hour afternoon tea at this British-style tearoom, with three-tiered trays presenting sandwiches and canapés, scones or tea bread, and desserts, like possets, macarons, shortbreads and seasonal sorbet. The menu features vegetarian, vegan-friendly and gluten-friendly options.

Old Mill English Tea Room, Somers

Experience an enchanting afternoon of tea at this 1860s-era Greek Revival building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy classic tea sandwiches, quiches, salads, crepes, scones with clotted cream and jam, and platters with baked Brie and assorted bruschetta.

Open Door Tea, Stratford 

This European-style tearoom/café was founded in 2016 as a “comforting oasis” for guests to relax and enjoy tea and light fare. In addition to a large selection of teas, Open Door offers breakfast and lunch options, including sandwiches and salads, quiches, baked goods, coffee, smoothies and juices.

Delamar Hotel Collection

Afternoon tea is available at the Artisan Restaurants at the Delamar Hotels in Southport and West Hartford, and at l'escale at the Delamar Greenwich. The experience begins with a glass of the restaurant's exclusive private-label champagne, followed by finger sandwiches, pastries, artisanal jams, and premium teas.

Cady’s Tea Room at Stanton House Inn, Greenwich

Traditional afternoon tea is thoughtfully prepared and served in the dining room at Stanton House Inn on Saturdays. Each experience includes a curated selection of tea sandwiches and small savory bites, fresh scones with jam and clotted cream, and sweets like cookies, shortbread, cake slices, or petite pastries. You can even book your own private tea event.

The Spa At Norwich Inn, Norwich

Take tea at the Norwich Inn on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the destination resort’s Palm Court, with assorted finger sandwiches, scones with Devonshire cream, blackberry jam and lemon curd; and sweets like mini cupcakes, cannoli and madeleines.

The Charles, Wethersfield 

Stop by The Charles for its monthly afternoon teas, with a curated selection of Harney & Sons tea, an assortment of both “traditional and unexpected” tea sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and sweet treats. Add caviar service or a bottle of cava or champagne for an upcharge.

Grace Farms, New Canaan

Grace Farms hosts monthly tea gatherings on Friday afternoons in its glass-enclosed Pavilion. Enjoy tea with an assortment of English and Japanese-inspired bites, presented on a three-tier stand. 

Marygold’s on Main, Newtown

The Newtown restaurant has hosted themed high tea events throughout the year, including an autumn tea in October with a menu of fall flavors, a “Dolly and Me” themed tea in the winter that encouraged kids to bring their favorite doll as a guest; and a springtime Easter Bunny tea with carrot cake bites.

Old Lyme Inn, Old Lyme 

Discover the charm of afternoon tea at the Old Lyme Inn, offered every Saturday afternoon. Enjoy a rotating selection of tea sandwiches, sweets, and scones paired with premium Harney & Sons teas, all served in the Inn's historic setting.

This specialty shop sells British chocolates, crisps, drinks and gourmet items from across the pond, and its tea room offers cream and afternoon teas by appointment, with scones, tea sandwiches and sweets.
