Webster's War of the Words

You are invited to the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society’s annual fundraiser – War of the Words!

Join us on Saturday, May 11, 2024 for a word-based game show featuring celebrity contestants and hosted by Merriam-Webster Dictionary’s Peter Sokolowski! Register now– the first 500 registrants can watch the online show for FREE courtesy of Tsunami Tsolutions. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

In addition to the game show, this year we are inviting you all to be a part of our Studio Audience! Join us at the Noah Webster House at 6:00 p.m. EDT for a night of non-stop fun featuring a Wine Tasting with Tilted Bottles, a live auction with Jacques Lamarre, and an American Blues performance with Ramblin’ Dan Stevens! Studio Audience members can also watch our live broadcast of the show!

To top it off, check back here for our online auction! Although anyone can register to bid, all ticket buyers will be automatically assigned a bidder number. Bidding will begin by Monday, April 22, 2024!
