Wisdom House

Wisdom House in Litchfield is an interfaith retreat and conference center set on 54 acres of meadows and woodland. The indoor and outdoor sanctuary areas and labyrinth encourage meditation, prayer and creative thinking. Throughout the year, there are scheduled programs, writer/artist retreats and ongoing programs. Personal retreats can also be arranged.

Ultimately, there is perhaps no greater peace that the one you can find outdoors in pristine conditions. The White Memorial Foundation is Connecticut’s largest nature center and wildlife sanctuary, and it’s calling out for you to make some corner of it your own.
