Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center (KTM&HC) is a beautiful, four-acre site in the heart of Ridgefield, CT that preserves and interprets hundreds of years of local and national history. We provide educational and cultural programs that connect past and present, with a focus on our former residents' experiences in the colonial era through the mid-20th-century. The four-acre historic site, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features museum and outdoor walking tours, rotating exhibits, and scenic grounds and gardens. Visitors can learn about our c. 1713 tavern museum, check out the British cannonball embedded in our corner-post during the 1777 Battle of Ridgefield, and explore the early 20th-century walled garden and Garden House designed by famed architect Cass Gilbert.
