As part of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, the Kellogg Environmental Center offers workshops, exhibits, nature activities, and lectures for the general public. Through hands-on programs, students, teachers and families can enjoy learning about nature and the environment.
The Center is adjacent to the Osborne Homestead Museum, a historic house displaying the collections of conservationist Frances Osborne Kellogg. The Center is part of Osbornedale State Park, a 400 acre park with a trail system through woods and meadows. More information can be found at: www.depdata.ct.gov/calendar, key work Kellogg.
