As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, Mill River Park Collaborative works hand-in-hand with the public and the City of Stamford to bring to life the community vision of a central park in the heart of downtown. With your help, the Collaborative guides the long-term development of Mill River Park as a vibrant, evolving greenspace where the community can gather to relax, play, learn and connect with nature.

Explore the native flora and fauna that has returned to the Park’s 12 acres of greenway after the restoration of Mill River in downtown Stamford.

Find a free fitness class, stop by for family-friendly crafts and stories, bring a friend to our next community party, and so much more.

Take a ride on the Park’s handcrafted carousel or schedule your next birthday bash in our award-winning carousel pavilion.

Tie the knot at Mill River Park, plan your next family reunion, put together a field day for students or host a community event.

Cut loose at the Playground at Mill River Park, soon to be completely renovated with new equipment, a picnic area and a splash pad.

Get ready to experience the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Ice Skating Rink & Fountain – 9,000 square feet of fun in both winter and summer.

Grab lunch, rent skates, learn about nature and take the views from the rooftop of the Andrew & Michael Whittingham Discovery Center.
