Riverside Reptiles Education Center (RREC) is a facility dedicated to reptiles and amphibians, the most curious and often misunderstood creatures of the animal kingdom. It is a place of fascination, education, and conservation. RREC gives visitors a special opportunity to get up close and personal with a diverse collection of indigenous and exotic reptiles, amphibians, and other creatures from around the world. Our animals enjoy naturalistic enclosures, allowing for normal behavior and unique visitor observations.
RREC is open to the public year-round with 13,000 square feet of indoor space and an extra 4,000 square feet of seasonal outdoor space. RREC can accommodate large groups or single explorers.
Riverside Reptiles Education Center has more to offer than just an incredible viewing experience. RREC has a spacious birthday party/event room and with booking that room you can also choose to have a personal reptile program. Can't come to us? We can come to you with our Roving Reptiles programs. RREC programs are perfect for schools, libraries, birthday parties, scouts, summer camps, daycares, recreation, and more!
RREC also offers personal reptile encounters where you can get up close and interact with some of the animals here at the center. From Tortoise Feedings with the Aldabras, to meeting Kaa, one of the largest snakes at RREC, even to Zookeeper Adventures, we have something for everyone!Pricing: Ages 12 & up $16, children (3-11) $14, children (2 and under) free, seniors & veterans $14.
