Originally built in the late 1800's, The Madison Beach Hotel was once a boarding house for shipbuilders.  Over time, the hotel and restaurant has been redefined and reinvented.  In 2009, the current owners razed the building and rebuilt on the exising footprint, creating an elegant, seaside property for visiting to the Greater New Haven region and the Town of Madison.  The hotel and restaurant reopened in 2012, providing an ideal location for dining and events.

The Wharf Restaurant sits once floor up from ground level and overlooks the Long Island Sound, providing some of the best view in Connecticut including both sunrises and sunsets. Join us for al fresco dining on the porch all year long and enjoy the view.  The porch is tented and heated in the winter to allow guests to enjoy the view of the sound and the rocks during all seasons. The dining room provides a more formal environment for special occassions. Or choose to dine at one of our larger communal dining tables located near our wall of wines.  All seats have wonderful views of the sound.

The Bar is designed with cozy banquette seating, and a beautiful blue granite bar top.  Enjoy a signature drink by one of our engaging bartenders or grab a quick bite while connecting with others at the bar.

The Wharf serves Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner daily.  A full Sunday Brunch Buffet is available weekly.  Happy Hour is offered Monday - Thursday.

Complimentary Valet Parking available for restaurant guests.
