Kick off the weekend with Aldrich After Hours and enjoy drinks and special programming in the Museum’s galleries.

Associate Curator Eduardo Andres Alfonso will give a highlights tour of Elizabeth Englander’s exhibition, Eminem Buddhism, Volume 3 focusing on the inclusive nature of Buddhism in celebration of Pride month.

Collage artist Michael Hentz will lead an open format collage workshop in the Studio. Pulling inspiration from the exhibition Layo Bright: Dawn and Dusk, guests can create their own floral inspired collages.

Michael Hentz will be accompanied by representatives from Flat Vernacular, a Norwalk-based custom wallpaper company that features Hentz’s work on one of their designs. Flat Vernacular will have wallpaper samples and merchandise to sell, accenting the botanical-based themes present throughout Layo Bright’s exhibition.

Specialty cocktails inspired by the current exhibitions, as well as beer and wine, will be available for purchase.

DJ Heavy Hymns, aka Michael Hentz, will be spinning a lively dance music set.

Explore the exhibitions on view including: Elizabeth Englander: Eminem Buddhism, Volume 3, Layo Bright: Dawn and Dusk, Loie Hollowell: Space Between, A Survey of Ten Years, and Esther Ruiz: Uncharted.
