Skiing enthusiasts enjoy the boarder and ski cross course, racing family and friends down a four-lane track pitting boarder against boarder and skier against skier complete with starting gates, timers and bibs. Swift and agile slalom racers also will find a challenge as they wind their way down demanding runs with multiple gates. The park is home to 20 feature-rich trails for all skill levels, complete with log-style rails, cascading jumps and the only full-size half pipe in Connecticut.
Offer ski instructions using new terrain-based teaching methods and also home to Connecticut's only Burton riglet snowboarding program for children as young as 24 months. The themed riglet park features kid-size interactive stations that teach students how to maneuver over, under and around sculpted terraine and features.
The Lodge offers a cafeteria, locker facilities, retail shops including a country store and sports shop. For artfully-inspired regional cuisine, visit the Fire at the Ridge restaurant, offering lunch and dinner.
