Mew Haven Cat Cafe is Connecticut’s first cat café.

A cat café is a coffee shop but with cats. Patrons can purchase coffee and baked goods and play with adorable cats. Since we work with the Animal Haven, a shelter located in North Haven, all of our cats are adoptable.

We are dedicated to providing a comfortable place for people and cats to meet. For people, maybe they need a quiet place to unwind from a long workweek. Or maybe they’re looking to adopt and want to meet their cats before they bring them into their family. For cats, we’re providing a fun, spacious, temporary home until they can find their forever home. And while they’re waiting, they can play with other cats and humans.

This is the first, but hopefully not last, cat café to open in Connecticut.
