Celebrating Easter 2024

Easter is a holiday of hope; spring has sprung and all things feel new. From colorful egg hunts and drive-through events to exquisite brunch menus, we’ve gathered a few ways to safely celebrate Easter in 2024.

Forest Easter Egg Adventure, Stamford Museum & Nature Center, March 22-24, 29-30

Children can search for Easter eggs on the nature trails, then return back to the Wheels in the Woods picnic area to meet some live animals and redeem their eggs for exciting prizes such as stuffed animals, science kits, craft activities, and more! A maximum of 25 kids per session ensures a fun, safe event for all.

Easter Eggspress, Connecticut Trolley Museum, March 23-24, 29-30

Take photos with Easter bunny, Motorwoman Cotton-Tail, then complete a Scavenger Hunt, make a Bunny Ear Craft, and visit the Fire Truck Museum for the chance to win up to three surprise-filled Easter eggs!

Dino Egg Hunt, Nature’s Art Village, March 30

Ever hunt for Dino-sized Easter eggs? On March 30, discover goodies all along the Dinosaur trail. Hunt for eggs in different locations throughout Dinosaur Place, enjoy a goodie bag, and of course win prizes!

Easter Bunny Trolley Rides, The Shore Line Trolley Museum, March 23-24, 29-30

Ride a 100-year old beautifully restored trolley to meet the Easter Bunny on his very own trolley car. Each child receives many photo opportunities plus a small gift!

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs Spring Scavenger Hunt, Roaring Brook Nature Center, March 29-31

A different kind of egg hunt, this event teaches about the animals laying eggs in spring. Hike the nature trails, scavenge for clues, win a prize, and take home a craft bag for kids!

Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Bunny Visit, New England Air Museum, March 29

Participants will have a choice of two scavenger egg hunts; the younger children will need to find four large felt easter eggs and the older children can choose to find five smaller felt eggs inside the museum. When they have found their egg locations, return to the front desk to report your findings, and collect your Easter goodie bag! To ensure the safety of all visitors, it is requested that parents remain with their children at all times during the Egg Hunt.

Woodland Egg Hunt, Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, March 29

Stroll the trails of the Nature Center in search of eggs, say hello to the resident animal friends along the way, and visit with the Easter Bunny. Kids can trade in their found eggs for wooden ones and head over to the creation stations to use paint and more to decorate in their own unique way.

Egg Scramble, EverWonder Children’s Museum, March 30

Join in the fun with hunting for eggs, visit with the Easter Bunny, play games, and more. For safety, the event is limited capacity and masks must be worn. Pre-registration required.
