Moms love flowers. Get her more than just a bouquet when you visit some of Connecticut’s loveliest gardens. Try Roseland Cottage in Woodstock, Mohegan Park’s Rose Garden in Norwich, Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford or Wickham Park in Manchester for a stroll or picnic among the flowers. Litchfield’s White Flower Farm is a great place to wander among the gardens and greenhouses in a particularly beautiful setting. Or, pick up something a little different at Logee’s Greenhouse in Danielson or Gilbertie’s Herb Gardens in Westport.

Plus, Saturday May 11 is the Bartlett Arboretum’s Annual Plant Sale in Stamford, and Fairfield’s Greenfield Hill Dogwood Festival happens Mother’s Day weekend this year. And here are some other great Connecticut garden spots for spring and summer.
