An antiques auction gallery in a c.1820s barn complete with weathered barn boards and a cupola. This second generation auction gallery has held weekly Saturday night auctions in Connecticut since the 1960s. At this country auction, a pillow places on a chair reserves your seat, and a wave of a hand or a nod of a head still serves as the manner of bidding. No sterile walls or numbered paddles will be found here. Only the charm of an old-fashioned atmosphere, peppered with humor by a true Connecticut Yankee auctioneer. The weekly Saturday night auctions are held year-round. Canton Barn is one of the last remaining auction galleries in the country that does not charge their clients a buyer's premium.

Canton Barn is also as well-known for its homemade pies as for the antiques. Please note that children are allowed at the auction preview but must be 16 yrs old to attend the auction.  If you have an interest in antiques and collectibles, a night at the Canton Barn is a must.
