Hike Knofla South and contemplate the changing New England foliage reflected in a tranquil pond; you may even see our resident beaver at work on his lodge.

Knofla South, across Bakos Road from Knofla North, is a gentle, half-mile downhill walk through the woods to a man-made pond.  The trail continues over the earthen dam at the south end of the pond and up the eastern shoreline, where the trail ends.  From the shoreline you may glimpse the beaver that inhabit the pond.  The grassy area at the south end of the pond is a nice place to linger and contemplate the peaceful natural beauty of this property in all four seasons.  During the winter, Knofla South presents a perfect opportunity to snowshoe.
